Tennessee SB 0250 4 - 4 Vote
27 February 2013 The Chairman and Senator Stevens are our biggest enemies to this bill. They did alot of dancing around the Constitution today. I was there and Senator Campfield especially was fighting for it hard. We need Tennesseeans to keep writing to all of them and calling them in support of SB 0250. Senator Ford was absent. Senator Stevens has a problem with Sheriffs having to arrest federal agents. Well, why would federal agents come into a state to enforce a federal law that Tennessee doesn't recognize? They'd have to bring an army.

SB 0250/HB 0248 Hearing in Nashville TOMORROW
26 February 2013 On Wednesday, 27 February 2013, at 11am, the Legislature in Nashville will be hearing SB 0250 and HB 0248, two companion bills to amend the Tennessee Firearms Act [2009]. WE NEED TO SHOW UP IN OVER-WHELMING NUMBERS AND SUPPORT THESE BILLS!!! We have been picking up momentum all over the country, and especially in our beloved state of Tennessee and we cannot falter now. We cannot give the anti-gun crowd an inch! Everyone, please show up in Nashville tomorrow so we can crowd into the building in support of these two fantastic bills! The bill reads:
“The general assembly declares that any federal action prohibited by this chapter relating to firearms, firearms accessories or ammunition, whether made in Tennessee or not, is not authorized by the United States constitution and violates the restrictions contained therein and is hereby declared to be invalid in this state; that said federal action shall not be recognized by this state; and that said federal action is rejected by this state and shall be null and void and of no effect in this state.”
The bill, if enacted into law, will make it illegal for the Federal Government and its agents to come into Tennessee and attempt to enforce any unconstitutional gun control laws, gun registration, and gun confiscation. Any Fed who comes into Tennessee and attempts to do any of the above will be arrested and charged with a Class B Felony! Tennesseans, don't let your state Representatives down! Show up in over-whelming support!

Red Skelton's Pledge of Allegiance
26 February 2013 I met Red Skelton when I was in high school in NJ. I was working at a camera store that he happened to come into one day. I was the only one who spoke up and asked, "Excuse me, but I have to say, you look like Red Skelton." He smiled and said "That's good, lad. Because I am Red Skelton!" He was a pleasure to talk to and stayed long enough for customers to get pictures with him. I didn't need a photo with him, because his smile and a handshake was enough of a memory to last a lifetime. I told him that I still had a record I got when I was like 5 years old. I told him it was on a square piece of white cardboard and the record imprinted on it was blue, and had red lettering. I had forgotten at that time what was on the record and didn't remember until he said, through tear-filled eyes, "The Pledge of Allegiance." The man was choked up that in 1987, someone still had that record. Watch this video done by one of the greatest entertainers and Americans ever to grace this earth. Towards the end, you will be amazed at how what he says to imagine has actually happened. I only Thank God that he was no longer here on Earth to see how his beloved Republic has fallen.
