Tennessee SB 0250 4 - 4 Vote

27 February 2013   The Chairman and Senator Stevens are our biggest enemies to this bill.  They did alot of dancing around the Constitution today. I was there and  Senator Campfield especially was fighting for it hard.  We need Tennesseeans to keep writing to all of them and calling them in support of SB 0250.  Senator Ford was absent.  Senator Stevens has a problem with Sheriffs having to arrest federal agents. Well, why would federal agents come into a state to enforce a federal law that Tennessee doesn't recognize?  They'd have to bring an army.

    Thanks! The chairman wouldn't let them discuss it further and pretty much said it had to be voted on now. That is really why it got a 4 - 4 vote. They didn't say when they would address it next.
